My Story
Hi there! I’m Ella Wilson, a fourth-year Public Relations major at the University of Georgia with a minor in Criminal Justice. My academic experience reflects a strong interest in public policy, the legal system, and the role strategic communication plays in shaping public understanding and informed decision-making.

While I have long been drawn to the study of law, my work in public relations introduced me to the impact of public affairs communication in policy environments. I am especially interested in how legal frameworks, government institutions, and strategic messaging intersect to influence policy outcomes, public trust, and stakeholder engagement.

During my study abroad experience in Florence, Italy, I studied Political Psychology and Comparative Legislative Politics, gaining a global perspective on governance and comparing U.S. and European legislative systems. This experience strengthened my interest in policy development and the ways cultural and political contexts shape decision-making.

I am eager to begin a career in public affairs where I can contribute to clear, responsible communication and help organizations navigate complex policy issues. In the future, I plan to pursue legal studies to deepen my understanding of the frameworks that shape policy and governance.

This site serves as a portfolio of my work at UGA, highlighting projects, experiences, and insights that reflect my interest in public affairs, policy communication, and strategic messaging.

Outside the classroom, I value curiosity, balance, and continuous learning — principles that guide both my personal growth and professional aspirations.

Thank you for visiting, and I invite you to explore my work.
